Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a knack for meticulous record-keeping and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Consulting Bookkeeper to join our team in the fast-paced construction industry.
This role presents a unique opportunity to apply your financial acumen, organizational skills, and industry-specific knowledge in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This role requires at least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:
1.
Overseeing the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
2.
Performing daily accounting tasks such as general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
3.
Collaborating with the accounting team.
4.
Assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.
5.
Utilizing bookkeeping software to maintain records and prepare reports.
6.
Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Bookkeeper position should possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end processes.
2.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
3.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
4.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial colleagues.
5.
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
6.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
7.
Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
8.
Strong problem-solving skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
9.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners.
