This is a 6 bed residential home facility.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent At least 3 months care-giving experience Must have CPR certification upon hire.
CPR certification must remain current during employment Must have a negative Tb test and physical before scheduled Specific Job Requirements Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult clients.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA privacy laws and maintain confidential information.
Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Able to work weekends an holidays.
Shift time 1:
15 pm - 9:
15 pm Approx.
32-40 hours a week.
At least 2 weekends a month.
Essential Functions Must be able to lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients.
Must be able to assist clients with ADLs:
showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting, etc Prepare and serve meals as well as light housekeeping.
Able to accurately document and chart client care.
Take Vital signs and willing to complete on job training for medication administration.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, staff, and family.
Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.
Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Bonuses for attendance, picking up additional shifts and staff appreciation.
