Neurosurgery physician job in California : Our group is seeking a board-certified neurosurgeon to join our practice. Preferred candidate will have interest in general neurosurgery and be interested in a long-term position. This is a unique opportunity to join a practice in one of the most beautiful, affordable areas in sunny Southern California. Practice details: Mainly spine 80%, cranial 20%, 350 cases per year of that mix. No Pediatric, No trauma Take call once a month for a week- very rarely called in. 2-3 days per week in clinic with 25 patients per day. Job Description: Admit, evaluate, diagnose, consult, and provide operative care to patients of all ages presenting with (1) injuries or disorders of the central, peripheral, and automnomic nervous system, including their supporting structures and vascular supply and (2) the evaluation and treatment of pathological processes that modify function or activity of the nervous system, including the hypophysis; and (3) the operative and nonoperative management of pain. Education and Skill Requirements: MD, DO, MBBS or MB BCH Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA or ROyal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada approved residency/fellowship training in Neurological Surgery. Current certification in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Suregery or the American Osteopathic Board of Suregery in Neurological Surgery. Strong communication and leadership skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, empathy, compassion, patience, dexterity, physical stamina, knowledge of brain and spinal cord anatomy. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
